Neel Deshpande is a Film Critic, Storyteller, and Founder of Neel Writes — a growing media platform shaped around honest reviews, original storytelling, press coverage, and creative communication.

 

A Botany graduate who found more chemistry in cinema than chlorophyll, Neel stepped into the media world driven by curiosity and a deep love for stories. His journey began as a Social Media Manager at Urvita Productions for their debut Marathi film Sarsenapati Hambirrao, where he discovered how narrative and marketing can amplify each other.

 

After the lockdown, he joined Creative Khopadi as an Executive & Production Manager, sharpening his production and on-ground creative instincts. Roles at Empower Tutorials and Stay Featured further strengthened his understanding of digital media, writing, and brand communication — shaping a creative mind grounded in hands-on experience.

 

In 2021, Neel built Neel Writes — starting as a simple blog and growing it into a trusted communication and PR partner for brands, TEDx events, and international conferences. Today, Neel Writes operates as a registered PR agency that blends credible journalism with brand storytelling and culture-driven content.

 

Neel also writes the LinkedIn newsletter “Buzz with Neel Writes”, where he breaks down media trends, digital storytelling, and personal branding for modern professionals and creators.

 

Rooted in Western Maharashtra and shaped by the discipline of Rotaract — where he currently serves as District Public Relation Officer-Media & Bulletin Chair — Neel believes in growth through service, community, and real human connections.
