Raksha Bandhan Celebration with a Social Cause

On 8th August 2025, Heritage International School in Kasaramboli celebrated Raksha Bandhan with a meaningful social initiative, intending to instil values of respect, gratitude, and community service in its students.

This year's event focused on honouring the Mulshi Appativyavasthapan Sanstha for their remarkable contributions to society. Upholding the school's tradition of acknowledging social contributors, the celebration emphasised the significance of social awareness and community involvement.


The event took place in the school auditorium, where students greeted the guests warmly and tied rakhis as a gesture of respect and unity. The program featured motivational speeches from both the guests and students, highlighting the importance of Raksha Bandhan and the crucial role social organisations play in community development. The guests also shared real-life stories that profoundly inspired the students.

Mr. Pramod Pandit Balkawade, Chairman of the Mulshi Disaster Management Committee, was the chief guest at the event, joined by three distinguished team members.

Their presence and valuable contributions were deeply appreciated by the school.


The event was honoured by the attendance of Mr. Krishna Bhilare (Founder, President), Mrs. Sangeeta Bhilare (Secretary), Directors Mr. Kunal Bhilare and Mrs. Yashaswini Bhilare, Ms. Samidha Bhilare, and all the teaching staff.

Principal Dr. Renu Patil conveyed her sincere appreciation to the distinguished guests and urged students to adopt the values of kindness, unity, and service in their lives.


The event ended with a vote of thanks and the distribution of sweets, leaving everyone feeling proud and purposeful. It was a truly memorable celebration that wonderfully blended tradition with social responsibility.
