Single Papa is a tender, emotionally grounded family drama that quietly challenges conventional ideas of parenting. At a time when stories around adoption and child-rearing are largely seen through a mother’s perspective, this series takes a refreshing detour by placing a father—willing, prepared, and emotionally available—at its heart.

The narrative revolves around Gaurav, played with remarkable sincerity by Kunal Kemmu, a man determined to adopt a child and raise them as a single parent. His journey isn’t romanticised; instead, it is layered with paperwork, societal judgment, emotional uncertainty, and deeply personal sacrifices.
