Ekrang: Pune to Celebrate Neurodiversity and Inclusivity with Vibrance and Heart

Pune, September 26, 2025: Known as a city that embraces culture, education, and community spirit, Pune is all set to host Ekrang – The Colour of Inclusivity. This one-of-a-kind celebration honors the beauty of neurodiversity. Scheduled for Sunday, September 28, 2025, at the Don Bosco Youth Centre, Koregaon Park, this day-long festival promises to be a joyful convergence of talent, creativity, and acceptance.



This collaborative initiative is jointly organized by the Nanhagyan Foundation (Romal Surana), Ridaan Array (Surabhii Aplesh), Ghummakaad, and Ahilya (Soma Gupta and Smita Banavali). The event is designed to provide a platform for over 100 neurodiverse children to showcase their talents and share their stories.


More than just an event, Ekrang serves as a reminder that every voice, every ability, and every color contributes to the vibrant fabric of an inclusive society.


Celebration Highlights


NGF Talk

A heartfelt talk series where neurodiverse children and their parents share their lived journeys—filled with resilience, breakthroughs, and hope.


Juniverse

A spellbinding talent show featuring performances in music, dance, and other creative arts, giving participants the stage to shine in their own unique ways.


Ahilya Flea Market with 20+ Stalls

From handmade crafts to innovative creations, a bustling flea market curated by Ahilya will showcase products crafted by neurodiverse individuals alongside local artisans—each stall telling its own story of creativity and empowerment.


Interactive Spaces

Ghummakaad brings an element of play and joy through interactive sessions and games, ensuring there’s something memorable for everyone.



A Gathering of Support

The celebration will be graced by distinguished guests, including Jaspriya Gandhok, Neha Jajoo, Dr. Saraswati Kanse, Sheetal Biyani, Dr. Ankita Sanghavi, and Neha Chimbalkar.


Several organizations have come forward to lend their support, including The Blessed Ones, Asha International School, Nurturing Kindness, Kirandeep Dhoop, Gupta Family, Blooming Tanman, and the Nanhagyan Foundation. Media partners Stayfeatured and Mahaz Times will help amplify this message of acceptance.


A Call to the People of Pune

“Ekrang is more than a festival—it is a movement that celebrates the courage, joy, and creativity of neurodiverse individuals,” said a spokesperson from the organizing committee. “It seeks to remind us that inclusion begins with understanding, and understanding begins with listening to every story.”


The event will run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM and is open to all.
